China has shown interest in Andrhra Medtech Zone project -CHINESE DELEGATION & INVESTORS attended SUMMIT AT AMTZPublish Date : Dec 13, 2016
• A Chinese delegation of over 30 investors visited Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) Ltd. on December 09, 2016. The delegation was led by Ms.Jessie Wei(Co-founder of SKK-JW Associates) and was facilitated by Mr. SurinderKalra (Co-Chairman, Foreign Trade & Investment Committee, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry). The three hours’interactive session had the Chinese delegates discuss about various investment opportunities with AMTZ senior management led by Director & CEO, AMTZ – Dr.Jitendar Sharma. The delegation was familiarised with the various scientific facilities available at AMTZ. The background work and support available for the medical devices manufacturers impressed the delegates who were astouned by the AMTZ package.
– One important feature which attracted the attention of the delegates was the presence of empanelled partners for technology transfer, human capital management and financial support. The delegation was impressed upon with the various benefits of starting the manufacturing units at AMTZ. Appreciating the noble intentions of AMTZ, a delegation member aptly pointed out that “the speed and noble intention with which AMTZ is focused and moving ahead, it is bound to greater success bringing benefit to the global economy.”
• AMTZ – India’s first medical devices manufacturing park – has already announced bookings of factories at a refundable fee of Rs. 6,250; Rs. 12,500 &Rs. 25,000 for a 0.25 acre; 0.50 acre and 1.00 acre manufacturing unit respectively. AMTZ has been receiving bookings continuously since the launch of booking on 2nd October.
